Our loan matching service, cash24.lk does not charge any commissions for using funds. The service operates with full integrity. We do not charge any commissions. Our service is free of charge to use.

Your financial institution sets the penalties for late payments in your agreement. Lenders in Sri Lanka set their own interest rates and penalties for failure to pay.

It is important to note that all financial relationships are between you and your financial institution, not cash24.lk. We are not a lender and never act as such. As a service, we only match borrowers and financial institutions by offering a selection of companies that provide cash loans up to Rs.120000 for a period of 120 days.

The lender will determine its own policies regarding loan provision and payment. The borrower agrees to the terms online directly on the lender’s website. You, as the borrower, may choose to accept or decline the terms offered in the loan terms. Your agreement details the loan amount, currency, period of use for the funds, and your obligations.

cash24.lk cannot access your loan agreements. If you have questions regarding your loan agreement or repayment, contact your financial institution directly through the means of communications detailed on their website.

Intermediary Responsibilities Policy

cash24.lk is not a lender, nor does it take any decisions regarding loans. cash24.lk finds lenders for customers based on their application information. It earns a commission, paid by the lender, for providing advertising services. We cannot guarantee that a lender will accept your application or that they will offer you loan terms that will suit your needs. Not all lenders can provide loans of up to Rs. 120 000. The time it takes to process and transfer a loan depends on the lender. This website does not directly endorse any particular product or service. Any information on this website is approximate in nature. Some lenders may perform a credit check with a credit reporting agency as a loan condition.

Repayment Periods and Interest Rates

The loans offered on cash24.lk have a minimum repayment period of 120 days (four months) and a maximum of 180 days (six months). APRs range from 0% to 36%. Interest rates vary from lender to lender.

Collection Process

Please contact the lender directly if you are having trouble repaying. They will be able to discuss payment options with you. The lender reserves the right to give your information to a third-party collection agency, should the situation remain unresolved.

Consequences of Default

If you cannot repay on time, your lender may start the collection process as per the loan agreement. Your lender will often contact you to arrange an alternative repayment schedule. This could result in additional fees or interest. Lenders also have an option to file a lawsuit against you. Consider contacting your lender before missing a payment to find out what collection policy they have and discuss your repayment options.

Late Payments

If you are unable to repay within the loan period, you need to contact your lender right away. Lenders may charge a fee for late payments, which averages about 0.03% of the amount owed for personal loans and credit cards. Please remember that you will likely incur additional fees if you pay late or not at all, which could add up. For more information about late payment fees, please contact your lender directly and be sure you have read the terms in your loan agreement.

Loan Extension Policy

cash24.lk does not recommend extending your loan. If you feel that you cannot repay your loan on time, then we strongly suggest you not taking it and recommend that you seek independent financial advice. However, should you decide that an extension is necessary, please discuss this option with your lender. For more information about your lender’s process and policy regarding nonpayment, please review the terms in your loan agreement.
